- Will dated 20/6/1684 mentions:
- To be buried in Tideswell churchyard
- "Ann Lomas my eldest daughter"
- "Elizabeth Lomas my second daughter"
- "Mary Lomas my loving wife"
- "Robert Lomas my only son"
- "Thomas Lomas my eldest brother and Edward Lomas my second brother" (Executors)
- Witnesses: William Rodgers, Thomas Harrison & Thomas Lomas
- Probate granted 13/4/1686 to Edward Lomas, reserving a power for Thomas Lomas
- Inventory taken 9/4/1685 by William Heathcott & Robert Sutton. Besides pages and pages of apothecarial ingredients which will be of great interest to someone I'm sure, this also includes a long list of debtors, namely :
