BARKER
Thomas Barker of Sheldon, 1644/45
- No will, but there is an agreement dated 13/12/1644 between Hellen Barker of Sheldon, widow of the deceased, and William Barker, their son. She gives up her claim to her third of the estate in return for accomodation, meat & drink, and ten pounds a year from William. William also agrees to pay £140 to his sister Alice Barker on 25/3/1646, £140 to his sister Frances Barker on 25/3/1648, and £140 to his sister Jane Barker on 25/3/1650. It was witnessed by Richard Dale and Anne Sheene
- An inventory was taken 4/12/1644 by Richard Dale of Priestcliffe, Richard Dale of Moinash, Rodger Dicon & John Couper, yeomen.
